About The Financial Services School
The Financial Services School is a Registered Training Organisation ‘Provider No 31916’ with 10 years of experience providing training and assessment to the general insurance industry.
Our courses have been developed with practicality in mind. Our trainers and resource developers have all worked extensively in the general insurance and insurance broking profession. The courses are designed with practical day to day broking practices in mind. We recognise that whether a person is 6 or 60, they all learn differently. Our objective is to accommodate the varying ways people learn.
Our training modules contain a variety of text based learning modules, interactive info-graphics and animations to maintain the students’ interests. We have recently joined forces with Dr Allan Manning and the LMI Group to produce quality continued professional development programs. Dr Manning's publications have also been introduced into our qualification courses.
It is our view that technical insurance knowledge is formative to the development of insurance broking skills. Our training courses incorporate technical knowledge, generic product knowledge and broking skills.
Our team is proud of achieving a consistently high level of quality indicator feedback and excellent learner completion rate. We work with students on a personal level to ensure they are provided with every opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills required to work in the general insurance industry.
We are an associate member of the Council of Qld Insurance Brokers (CQIB) and work closely with CQIB and our clients to ensure our training materials and assessments are current and meet the needs of industry.

We only deliver comprehensive training which is specific to general insurance.
